The cold planer can be converted from surface planing to slot cutting.  Use a cutting disk for cutting expansion crack slots, or slots for embedding wires or tubing.
The standard planer drum, equipped with carbide cutting teeth and the self leveling suspension, efficiently planes the pavement surface.
