A self-centering rotary potentiometer position sensor, in which a conductive wiper is in contact with complex resistive material.

The WM-552 is a self-centering rotary potentiometer position sensor, in which a conductive wiper is in contact with complex resistive material. 

The wiper is integrated with a shaft. As the shaft is moved in either direction there is a change in the resistance, which is proportional to the absolute rotation.

Typical output signals can include:
One linear ratiometric circuit
